altSHIFT is a coalition of entrepreneurs, business executives, non-profit activists, technology geeks, health care practitioners, educators, butchers, bakers and candlestick makers.  We are a think-tank designed to approach a problem from every conceivable angle to find hidden cracks and unconventional opportunities.

By design, we are not experts in our client's fields.  Instead we approach their businesses with fresh eyes and ask, "why?, "what if?" and "how?"  We look for synergies and connections between industries previously considered detached and find ways to turn problems into innovations. 

As Frank Lloyd Wright once said, an expert is someone who has, "stopped thinking because he knows."  At altSHIFT we are experts only in questioning what's "known" and we never ever stop thinking.
